AHCA/NCAL Applauds Introduction Of Long Term Care Act, USA
The American Health Care Association (AHCA) and National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) praised the efforts of Senator John Thune (R-SD) and Representative Lee Terry (R-NE) for introducing The Long-Term Care Act of 2007 in both the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives. The legislation would allow individuals to use, without penalty, pre-tax dollars from individual retirement accounts (IRAs) as well as other retirement savings plans to purchase qualified long term care insurance.
